What to Bring

Prepare for your Gumbalimba Park adventure with these recommendations.

Must-Have Items

- Walking shoes - Adequate shoes for walking on trails
- Flip-flops are NOT recommended for the walking portion
- Comfortable clothing - Light, breathable fabrics
- Sunscreen - Tropical sun protection
- Insect repellent - Optional but recommended
- Personal towels - We do not offer towels for rent
- Swimwear - For beach and pool use
- Flip-flops - Adequate for beach/pool areas
- Sunglasses
- Cash (USD) - Essential for small purchases and tips
- No ATM on site
- Credit card minimum for lockers is $13
- Credit card - For larger purchases
- Phone with Apple Pay - Accepted for payments

For Zipline Participants

- Closed-toe shoes - Required for safety
- Hair tie - If you have long hair
- Comfortable clothes - That allow freedom of movement
- No loose jewelry - Remove before ziplining

What NOT to Bring

- Bags and backpacks - Not allowed in animal areas
- Locker rentals available ($5)
- Large purses - Monkeys can open zippers!
- Valuable jewelry - Risk of loss on zipline
- Outside pets - To protect park animals
- Outside food - Available at Hungry Monkey
- Loud speakers - Park is a quiet nature zone

Mobility Devices

Foldable wheelchairs (door width ~2.5 feet)
- Electric scooters (50+ lbs)
- Large mobility devices

Consider the Golf Cart option for mobility assistance.
1. Small water bottle - can be carried during tour
2. Wear your swimsuit under clothes - saves changing time
3. Pack light - less to store in lockers
4. Waterproof phone case - for beach photos
5. Bring small bills for tips - guides appreciate cash gratuities
- Rain: Tours operate rain or shine; bring a light rain jacket
- Sun: Strong tropical sun; reapply sunscreen frequently
- Heat: Stay hydrated; water available at the park
