Bags of any kind are not allowed in the animal area at Gumbalimba Park. Lockers are available for rent to safely store your belongings during your visit.
Why Lockers Are Required
The animals at Gumbalimba, especially the monkeys, roam freely - there are no cages between you and the animals. The monkeys:
- Believe you have snacks in your bags
- Are capable of opening zippers
- May take items up into the trees
- Will not easily give items back
To avoid any problems and protect both visitors and animals, bags must remain in lockers.
