Golf Car Details
Capacity
– Largest cars hold up to 5-7 guests (plus driver)
– 4 new golf cars available, each holding 5 guests
Shared Cars
Golf cars are shared with other visitors. If you wish to have a private car, you must pay for all empty seats.
Availability
– First-come, first-served basis
– No pre-reserved seating at this time
– Payment at admissions inside Gumbalimba Park
– If golf cars are in use, maximum wait time is 30-45 minutes
The Golf Car Tour
Walking Required
Only 2 locations require you to exit the golf car and walk a short distance:
1. Insectarium – Collection of preserved taxidermy bugs and butterflies
2. Pirate Museum Cave – History of Roatan exhibit
The rest of the park is fully accessible without leaving the golf car.
Wheelchair & Mobility Device Information
What Fits in Our Bus
– Foldable wheelchairs (door width approximately 2.5 feet)
What Does NOT Fit
– Electric scooters (50+ lbs)
– Dismantling-type scooters
– Large mobility devices
Note: If you have a scooter or large mobility device, it must be left at the cruise port area. We strongly recommend the golf car option instead.
